To effectively protect yourself against any attempted fraud, your bank recommends that you follow the guidelines below.

Guideline 1: maintain a secure computing environment
- Update your computing equipment1 to avoid compatibility issues.
- Install anti-virus and firewall software on your computing equipment1 and update it regularly.
- Download your software from reliable sources.
- Never plug in a device if you do not know where it came from (e.g., a found USB stick).
Guideline 2: follow any guidelines provided by your bank
- Keep your authentication solution in a secure location.
- Regularly check the security information on your bank's website.
- Log out of your account information at the end of each browsing session.
- If you have a USB-based authentication solution, make sure to disconnect it after use (USB stick, box, etc.).
