Paris Business Angels and CIC renew their partnership to step up support for French early-stage start-ups

Paris Business Angels (PBA), a leading network of business angels in France, is renewing in 2025 its longstanding partnership with CIC through the CIC Start Innovation program, aimed at supporting businesses and innovators. Together, we are reasserting our shared commitment to providing active early-stage support for innovative start-ups.

Sharing this same vision, PBA and CIC Start Innovation are uniting their expertise to provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs, from the first pitch to the first financing rounds, in order to:

  • Boost investment capacity (in equity for PBA and in non-dilutive solutions for CIC Start Innovation),
  • Combine our business and financing expertise to provide the best possible support,
  • Expand access to opportunities (clients, markets and skills) through the synergy in our ecosystems,
  • Pool our resources and credibility to promote early-stage entrepreneurship.

By consolidating their collaboration, Paris Business Angels and CIC are confirming their key role in the emergence of a new generation of talented, high-potential entrepreneurs. “Renewing this partnership with a recognized player that we have known for many years is a guarantee of success. We share the same culture: a close relationship with entrepreneurs, the agility to support them, and the ambition to grow bold projects. We see this win-win partnership as a way to further increase start-ups’ chances of success,” says Olivier Baroux, Chairman of Paris Business Angels. Arnaud Hérent, Director of CIC Paris Innovation, says: “As a bank for entrepreneurs and innovation, partnering with Paris Business Angels is a natural move for CIC. Together, we provide start-ups with comprehensive support, bringing together our financing and strategy consulting expertise.”
